GROUND PENTRATING RADAR (GPR)

The Ground Penetrating Radar picks up underground services and it can track and identify nonmetallic services e.g. AC or plastic water mains, plastic conduits with fibre optic cables, buried tanks, where other locators cannot identify these non-metallic services.

This is the latest technology and we invested in bringing in a specialist from Sydney to extensively train our technicians. We believe we are the only ones in SA to have the equipment and importantly the expertise to operate and interpret the scans.

ELECTRONIC PIPE AND CABLE LOCATOR

Utilising advanced electronic locating equipment to scan the area, accurate information about the position and depth of underground utilities can be obtained.

HYDRO EXCAVATION

Hydro-Excavation or ‘Pot Holing' is ideal to visually locate the depth of fibre optic services, gas mains or water services prior to excavation to minimise or prevent damage to the services from general excavation methods.

The hydro excavation tool is connected to both the vacuum and water pressure hose of the JetVac unit for blasting of the earth while vacuuming the spoil into the truck’s collection tank. This method is suitable for sensitive environments and Heritage listed areas. All waste is deposited at registered EPA handling and recycling sites.
