GROUND PENTRATING RADAR (GPR)

The Ground Penetrating Radar picks up underground services and it can track and identify nonmetallic services e.g. AC or plastic water mains, plastic conduits with fibre optic cables & buried tanks where other locators cannot identify these non-metallic services. We believe we are the only ones in SA to have the equipment and importantly the expertise to operate and interpret the scans.

ELECTRONIC PIPE AND CABLE LOCATOR

Utilising advanced electronic locating equipment to scan the area, accurate information about the position and depth of underground utilities can be obtained.

HYDRO EXCAVATION

Hydro-Excavation or ‘Pot Holing' is ideal to visually locate the depth of fibre optic services, gas mains or water services prior to excavation to minimise or prevent damage to the services from general excavation methods. This method is suitable for sensitive environments and Heritage listed areas.

LEAK DETECTION

Unidentified, buried or enclosed pipe leaks can cause extensive property damage and high costs in water usage. Leaks are usually found to be underground, under concrete and within building structures. This service reduces the guess work of sourcing underground leaks and helps to reduce the cost of repairs by establishing more clearly where the leak is rather than by extensive excavation or demolition.

CONFINED SPACE ENTRY

Storage tanks, pump wet wells, degreasers, sewers, manholes, tunnels, side entry pits, tanks both below and above ground, boilers, water towers, blood pits at slaughter houses, open topped spaces 1.5m deep without good ventilation.

EPA HAZARDOUS WASTE LICENSE

We operate specialised vehicles EPA licensed to transport hazardous waste. Our technicians are trained in correct manual handling and certified in traffic management and confined space entry to ensure safe and efficient work practices. They have completed training in the handling and transportation of waste and carry appropriate personal protective equipment for all situations.

Another definite advantage is the quick rate at which a renovation can be achieved.
