Promotion
When we have recruitment need, the first place we look is inside. Many who began their career as apprentices with Smith Brothers now run the company as Division Managers, Project Managers, Site Managers and Estimators.
Training
Every effort is made to train, encourage, motivate and reward staff for total commitment to quality service. We promote and assist our team to further their career and trade qualifications; to move with the new technologies and materials becoming available to our industry.
Apprenticeships & Traineeships
Smith Brothers Plumbing has a long & successful history of employing apprentices. Traineeships work in much the same way. Our apprentices are selected from the TAFE Prevocational Training program and have the opportunity to gain experience either within the construction industry in major or small contracts or within the Service division.
Professional Development
We encourage and support individuals to commit to and grow through experience and education. Managers are encouraged to attend Conferences and Expos both interstate and overseas to keep abreast of new technologies and products. Managers also sit on various boards and committees pertinent to the industry or community
