The core business of Smith Brothers is plumbing. Qualified plumbers and apprentices make up 80% of our workforce which is currently over 150 employees including 30 apprentices. Our business goals and objectives pertain to delivering the best plumbing and pipeline service in Australia.

Our training plan is highly focused and aligned with this goal. Smith Brothers Plumbing is structured to quickly adapt to new methods, technologies and market conditions. We forward plan to ensure we have qualified and experienced plumbers and a constant flow of apprentices learning the trade. We do this through our policy of employing full time permanent tradespeople to provide a continuous skills development for both apprentices and tradespeople.

We are firmly committed to environmentally sustainable plumbing methods and products. We provide water audits and promote water and energy saving solutions.

Through providing excellent training practices, we help the industry; we raise the level and set benchmarks. Due to our diversity, we offer apprentices a wide range of experience and mentors.

Many of our apprentices win awards of excellence during their apprenticeships. Many who began their career as apprentices with us now run the company as Division Managers, Project Managers, Site Managers and Estimators.
